The one constant throughout my life has been MUSIC!

Music sustained me through painful times, and was a go to for me when words defied life

​I was born in South Africa. I left reluctantly when I was 12 years old, and relocated to Australia but the homeland remains in my heart

​As a child, witnessing racism and the brutality shown to my black brothers and sisters weighed heavily on my soul. Racism is something I am deeply passionate about today and advocate for in the ways that are available to me

​My life has been far from easy

I have battled severe drug and alcohol addiction and dependency, grappled with poor mental health, confronted with significant childhood abuse, lived through domestic violence, faced chronic homelessness, and many times have not wanted to be here anymore

Today, I AM  a more healthier version of all the things I have been.  I have made mistakes (who hasn't) but always deep within me, my purity and good heart remained. I learnt compassion through my own trials and tribulations and from those who embody the very essence of true compassion

​What kept me alive is nearly always impossible to really say

I had a dream

I found purpose and meaning

Music is an extension of all that is within me. As a DJ, I get to use music to amplify my inner voice and express the things that are important and meaningful to me.
